  • Is there a minimum stay ?
    Yes, 3 night minimum

  • What time can I arrive and check into my accommodation ?
    Check in between 15.00 and 22.00 Check out before 11.00 If you need to arrive earlier or check out later, please send a message to ask Alison if this is possible. info@piglets.co.uk
  • What is self catering ?
    Self-catering refers to renting a property (in this case a barn) with cooking facilities, allowing you to prepare your own meals.
  • Are electricity and heating costs included in the price ?
    Yes, all utilities are included in the price.
  • Is your accommodation suitable for disabled people or people with limited mobility ?
    Yes. Please see our Accessibility Policy for more Information. The accessibility guide on the relevant accommodation pages of the website will help you further. Please let us know in advance if any members of your party require extra assistance.
  • Is your accommodation suitable for families and children ?
    Yes, we are family-friendly. Our Barnlets are suitable for children. Infants up to age 2 are not charged and do not count towards the maximum occupancy, but please let let us know if you are bringing them. We can provide, Cots, Changing tables, High chairs, electric socket plug covers. The whole area around the Barnlets is secure within a high fence and gates to prevent children from escaping into the car park and subsequent Climping Street.
  • How far in advance can I book ?
    A 12 month rolling calendar is in operation. To book further ahead please email info@piglets.co.uk
  • Can I book more than one Barnlet at a time ?
    Yes, you will be able to see availability on the calendar for each of the four Barnlets at The Piglets. Visibility is shown for all Barnlets both booked and available to help you organise alternative dates to accommodate your stay. Alison is happy to help with your request info@piglets.co.uk The Barnlets are all next to each other in a terrace, but do not have interconnecting doors and there is no central area to accommodate groups. They are however, perfect for groups who are attending a local event, such as a wedding or party.
  • What is your smoking policy inside and outside the accommodation ?
    Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted inside or on site. There is a public seated area in Climping Street, by the entrance to The Piglets where you can smoke or vape.
  • Is the car park close to the accommodation ?
    Yes, it is a short walk from the car park. We allow guests to drive to the door of each Barnlet to unload/load luggage. Please note there is no turning circle so you will need to reverse back out again.
  • Are Assistance Dogs allowed on site ?
    Absolutely. We welcome assistance pets. There is no charge for them, but please let us know in advance if you are bringing them. There is provision for this within the booking system.
  • Can I bring my dog ?
    Well behaved dogs on leads are welcomed. Two dogs per barnlet. Please add your dog to your booking - £5 per dog per day. If you need to bring a 3rd dog please contact Alison for approval prior to booking.   • Where can I deposit my Dog's waste ?
    You can deposit bagged dog's waste in the specifically labelled dog waste bin which is located at the entrance beside the other waste bins.
  • How do I contact you with other questions ?

  • Is there access via public transport ?
    Yes, Coastliner Bus Times & Tickets | South Coast Route Stagecoach has 2 bus stops on A259 - 5 minutes walk from The Piglets. https://www.stagecoachbus.com Our smart, modern buses run frequently through the day and into the night, connecting you between Portsmouth, Chichester, Littlehampton, Worthing and Brighton! Train - Southern Rail network to: Ford Rail Station - 1.6 miles Littlehampton Rail Station - 1.7 miles Barnham Rail Station - 3 miles Coach - Littlehampton Anchor Springs - 1.9 miles Alison will collect/deliver you from Littlehampton/Ford/Barnham railway stations in her car FOC if you arrange this with her prior to arrival info@piglets.co.uk
  • What consumables are provided ?
    Salt, Pepper, Olive oil, sugar cubes, washing up liquid, hand wash, cleaning spray, laundry liquid, kitchen roll, tinfoil and cling film in the kitchen. Hand wash and toilet roll in the bathrooms.
  • I haven't received a confirmation email. Have I made a booking ?
    Please check your email is correct or may need updating. For further information please email info@piglets.co.uk
  • How do I know that my booking information is secure ?
    We use a secure server to capture your card details from the booking form. You can verify that the page is secure by checking that there is a https://prefix in the web address of the page and a key and padlock icon in the browser's status bar.
  • Can I pay in foreign currency ?
    Payment is made via Stripe which supports adaptive pricing in the currency from up to 40 countries.
  • Can I pay using my AMEX card ?
    No, sorry, we do not support Amex payments.
  • Can I make a group booking ?
    Yes, you will be able to see availability on the calendar for each of the four Barnlets. Visibility is shown for all Barnlets at The Piglets both booked and available to help you organise alternative dates to accommodate your stay.   • How do I amend or cancel a booking ?
    This can be done online via our website or email info@piglets.co.uk for help from Alison.
  • How do I cancel booking ?
    Please do this via our website. If you definitely want to cancel (rather than amend/postpone) your booking, please login to our website and click 'Cancel this booking'. You can do this provided there are more than 30 days from your arrival date. To view the cancellation policy for your booking, view the booking page or see your confirmation email. In the event of death or serious illness of anyone in your booking party or their immediate family members, refunds of deposits may be granted (at our discretion). Refunds can only be issued on presentation of supporting evidence. We define 'immediate family' as spouse/registered partner, co-habiting partner, children, parents, parents-in-law, siblings, siblings-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law.
  • Can I charge my electric vehicle ?
    Yes, there is provision for up to 4 vehicles to be charged at any one time using domestic waterproof outdoor 3 pin plug sockets. Remember to bring your own 3 pin socket charging cable with you. There will be a cash charge for the electricity used. Contact Alison on email info@piglets.co.uk
  • Can we bring bicycles and other sports equipment ?
    Yes, you are welcome to bring your equipment which can be stored outside on the patio, or inside the kitchen or lounge area when you are out without them. We cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss or stolen items.
  • Will I have an adequate mobile phone signal ?
    Generally mobile phone signals work inside the Barnlets, however, due to the insulation, some signals may be intermittent. All mobile phone signals work well outside.
  • Is there free WIFI in each of the Barnlets ?
    Yes, there is free WIFI available. 123ThePiglets - PW: 123ThePiglets. This information is also available inside each Barnlet.
  • Can we bring more guests to the accommodation than stated ?
    The number of guests shown for each Barnlet (6) is the maximum number permitted. All guests must be added to the booking prior to arrival to allow for adequate bed linen, towels etc to be left in situ. Guests who may not be staying for the entire stay can stay for less nights than the primary guest providing this is arranged in advance.   • Can we invite additional day guests to the Piglets for a celebration or party ?
    No, we do not allow parties or large gatherings.
  • Can I leave feedback during or following my stay ?
    Yes, Alison is happy to receive feedback in person during your stay or contact info@piglets.co.uk We would like to hear about any niggling issues, tweaks or ideas of how to improve our facilities, especially if we can solve something to make your stay more comfortable whilst you are here.
  • I have a complaint - who should I contact ?

  • Can I invite day visitors to my Barnlet ?
    Yes, provided you have advised Alison that they are coming and how many. Visitors are welcome between 11am and 10pm.
  • Can I order deliveries to be made to my Barnlet ?
    Yes, the address of each Barnlet at The Piglets is registered with Royal Mail. No 1 The Piglets, Climping Street, Climping, Littlehampton.   • Can we bring a barbeque ?
    No, sorry, we do not permit barbeques due to the layout of the outside of the accommodation which is in a terrace of adjoining patios. There is a full kitchen with grill inside. There is plenty of outside seating to enjoy your meal al fresco.
  • Can we bring candles ?
    No, sorry, candles and lit fires of any kind are not permitted on site due to the construction of the wooden clad building and the layout of the rear patios. There is outside lighting on the rear patios accessed by a switch inside the fuse box in the kitchen.
  • How do I provide a review after my stay ?
    We would like to hear about any niggling issues, tweaks, or any ideas of how to improve our facilities as that is how we have progressed so far ! Feedback and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Please do this via our website under the "Write a review" section. Google reviews are appreciated.
